There are days when you wake up all twisted and smooshed into your pillow. You look like a discarded rag doll but somehow you’re actually comfortable.
Eventually you must crawl out of that cocoon and face the big bad world. Alarm clocks. Schedules. Goals. They all seem to lock you into a cage and the fun part seems tantalizingly just out of reach.
Miraculously, by sheer stubbornness sometimes, you make it through the day. You reach that purely blissful moment when all is quiet. That peaceful moment when it seems right to contemplate the state of the universe. To know that we are where we belong. And despite having to crawl out of our comfy bed and face the big bad world we need to realize that we have it really good.
