I love small town festivals

I’ve been to a lot of places and I’ve seen a lot of parades and festivals. I must say I love the small town celebrations the best.
It’s more fun to watch when you see your friends on every float.

When the guy from the Building Center stops in the middle of the parade to ask if you liked the paint you purchased from him yesterday.
Or the kids on the floats throw extra candy at your kids because they are in the same class. You end up with pocket bulging with goodies that people threw your way.

Where you can’t get down the sidewalk, not because there are too many people but because everyone is stopping to talk. You see all the teachers from school and they want to know all about how the kids at doing now that summer is upon us.

I’m so glad that I live here in this small town. There’s nothing better.

  1. Sounds like my kinda town! Am so glad that you found such a perfect place to settle down and raise your kids. Hopefully next year, Lord willing, I can visit xx
